Personal data are any kind of data which to a certain extent relate to you. When you use our website, we collect and process extracts of such data. For example, we do this when you access the content in general, if you sign up for our newsletter, use our contact form, take part in competitions or surveys, sign up as a user, or if you use any other services or make purchases via the website.
We typically collect and process the following types of data: a unique ID and technical data about your computer, your tablet or mobile phone, your IP-number, geographic location, and data about the websites that you access (interests). To the extent that you give your explicit content to this and enter the data yourself, these data will also be processed: name, phone number, e-mail, address, and payment details. Such data will typically be collected in connection with creating a login or making a purchase.
We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that your data are not by accident or illegally deleted, published, lost, deteriorated, or made known to unauthorised persons, or misused, or in any other way treated in an unlawful way.
The data are used to identify you as a user and to show you the ads which are most likely to be relevant to you, to register your purchases and payments, and for providing the services requested by you, for example to send you a newsletter. In addition, we use the data to optimise our services and the content.
Period of data storage
The data are stored in the time span which is permitted by the legislation, and we delete these data when they are no longer needed. The time span depends on the nature of the data and on the background to storing the data. Thus, it is not possible to state a general time frame for deletion of the data.
Disclosure of data
Data about your use of our website, about which ads you receive and might click on, about your geographic location, your gender and the age segment will be disclosed to third parties to the extent such data are known. You can view the third parties to which data may be disclosed in the section about “Cookies”. The data are used for targeting the advertising.
In addition, we use a number of third parties for storing and processing data. Such third parties solely process data on behalf of our business and are not allowed to use them for their own purposes.
Disclosure of personal details like name and e-mail etc. will only take place if you give your consent. We only use data processors in EU/the European Economic Area or in countries which offer sufficient protection of your data.
